Not sure what to talk about, but I just feel like making note of random things.
My midterms are finally done (as of last Monday). I did quite well (i.e. 75%+) on all of them save one. However, I have done better than the class average in all my classes. Not sure whether I'll be able to get my scholarship back for next year - it's going to be a close call. Finals are in two weeks, and I really have to start studying if I'm going to perform as well as I want to. I'm aiming for an A+ in at least two of my courses.
I'm going skiing in January with my friends for three days. I am ecstatic. My last ski trip was in Japan to Yamagata with my second and third host fathers - which was an absolute blast, but that's very nearly two years ago now. Skiing is my favourite sport, and unfortunately one I don't get to enjoy nearly as much as I'd like to. I'm thinking about trying out snowboarding - I've been wanting to for years, but I've never really had much chance/ambition to do so. Last night I dreamed in the first-person that I was snowboarding. Which is weird: one, because I seldom remember my dreams, and two, because most of my dreams hover between first- and third-persons, never actually occuring completely in the first-person.
Friday we had a party for my roommate/friend's 19th birthday. She's finally legal, and she got wasted. I was also secretly celebrating my really good friend from Japan's birthday, as she was also turning nineteen. We had a really good time, and I found out that my roommate has some pretty fun/nice friends (many of her friends from home came down to party). I also somehow drank well over three litres of alcohol and was in tip-top shape the entire night, never getting beyond a general fuzz. (Good or bad? Not really sure.) Unfortunately, I was up until 4:30am as I cleaned up when everyone left and my roommate was passed out on my bed, so my sleeping schedule is totally screwed over now (I had planned to accomplish so many things today but I didn't wake up until well after 2pm and ate and bummed around all afternoon).
Oh, and Friday marked the first actual snowfall of the season. It was pretty.
I'm tired, so maybe I'll write some more at another time.

We had snow friday, too, but the one on Tuesday was the pretty one. You could see every single flake of snow sparkling at night, and as you'd walk in the street it'd be like walking through a sea of white fairies flashing (as in lights flashing, not as in removing their tops).
Snow is fun, but not in a city.
BEEEEAAAAAAAARD!!!

The skis are funnier than the snowboard, and you can FINALLY go fast (in SSX3, the top speed wasn't that thrilling...) The rails are annoying though, you always bump in them instead of griding on them... oh well, it's still tons of fun!

Someone will get On Tour for me this holiday, so I will get to play and curse at the stupid rails that go CLANK when you ram into them. Hoorays ^ ^-
p.s. Yay socks!
